Cinema Plus is an educational charity based at Cinema City, a 3 screen cultural cinema in the centre of Norwich.

Working with our partners, Cinema Plus delivers a wide range of activities and courses, both at Cinema City and around the county via our outreach strategy.

We offer:
  • Film theory courses for adults and young people.
  • Educational screenings for primary and secondary school groups.
  • Employability projects and internships for secondary and further education students
  • Filmmaking workshops and activities for children
Cinema Plus also helps coordinate a wide range of projects such as film heritage, reminiscence sessions, arts festivals and public screenings and events.

Donate to our Norfolk at the Pictures Appeal

Will you help Cinema Plus save Norfolk’s cinema history & develop a new Screen Heritage Centre by donating to our appeal? With your help we will create:

    - A new accessible education and exhibition space at Cinema City in      Norwich
    - A permanent collection of photographs, memories and ephemera of  Norfolk’s Cinemas
    - A range of special screenings, projects and events
All of this work will cost over £660, 000. Most of this amount we are hoping to raise through an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund and currently we only need to raise a further £50, 000. To reach this target we have launched this public appeal.

All donations, whatever the size, will help us to preserve Norfolk’s cinema heritage and provide new educational activities and facilities for people across Norfolk. All donors will be acknowledged in commemorative material associated with the project and larger donations within the new education and exhibition space itself.
