Directed by Gus Van Sant (ELEPHANT), PARANOID PARK is set in the world of the skateboarding sub-culture. Sixteen-year-old Alex is alienated from his soon-to-be-divorced parents and frustrated by his failing romance with classmate Jennifer. Alex heads for the local railroad tracks to ride a train; a seemingly harmless escapade, which leads to the accidental death of a security guard. As Alex wrestles with his guilt, a local cop begins to question the local boys about their whereabouts that fateful night.
