The year is 2700. WALL-E (an acronym for Waste Allocation Load Lifter - Earth-Class), a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for on a planet now devoid of humans and covered in rubbish. But soon he will discover what he was truly meant for. Witty, profound and beautifully realised, WALL•E is the latest animated feature from Pixar (TOY STORY, RATATOUILLE) and is amongst their very finest.
Following the film Dr Gill Seyfang from UEA’s School of Environmental Sciences will lead a workshop focusing on the environmental issues raised by the film.
